When it comes to the system clock, users may select the motherboard and clock name, pick a configuration from the list and enable automatic control by setting rules based on low CPU usage and time limit. The first panel monitors these components and allows users to enable the automatic fan speed based on the app's own optimization parameters. System tray indicator and clock tweaksĪt startup, it creates an icon in the notifications area which displays the current GPU, hard drive and core temperatures when hovering the mouse the icon's color indicated the current temperature status. The utility is packed in a classical interface made of a single window split into multiple frames, where users may seamlessly examine information and make the necessary changes concerning the fan speed. Installing SpeedFan takes minimal time and effort, since there are no customization options available.

I even uninstalled and reinstalled speedfan, no difference.

Ive looked around on google and was unable to come up with anything that seemed even the least bit helpful. I really have no clue what the problem is and why this just started happening. My OS and speedfan are located on one of my SSDs and nothing is showing any issue with the drive itself. Rebooting after already being in windows does not give this error. This also only happens when booting up when my pc is turned off. I did do a couple windows updates a few days ago but I had booted up since then without this error, but I went ahead and removed those updates incase. My other startup programs (including other ones through the task scheduler) all start up fine.Īlso, if i just click ok or whatever on the error popup, I can then go and manually start speedfan with no issue. The error code showing in task scheduler is 0x55B. I have always started speedfan via task scheduler after user login and never had an issue with it. I dont know what this service nonsense is, Ive never used a speedfan service (nor do i see one anywhere on the services.msc window). Click to expand.and speedfan obviously does not start.
